Shipping & delivery

How a shirt gets from the archive to your wall, and what happens at every step in between.

Most of what we sell exists in a single copy, which means a parcel that goes missing cannot simply be replaced. That shapes how we pack, how we ship, and what we are willing to promise you below.

Where we ship

We deliver across Europe, North America and Asia, and to the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa and Morocco.

If your country appears at checkout, we ship there. If it does not, write to us before ordering rather than after. We would rather quote you properly than cancel an order.

What it costs

Shipping is charged at a single flat rate per order, shown in full at checkout before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards by us.

Import duty and local taxes are a separate matter, covered further down this page.

How a piece is packed

Once payment clears, the piece comes out of the archive and is checked once more against its listing.

It is then photographed as packed, so there is a record of the condition it left us in.

Shirts are wrapped flat in archive board rather than folded into a mailer. Framed pieces travel glazed and corner-protected, boxed to their own dimensions.

Dispatch and tracking

Your order confirmation arrives immediately. It is not the tracking email.

Our team sends a second email carrying your tracking number within seven business days of the order. You do not need to do anything, chase anyone, or write to us in the meantime.

If seven business days pass with no tracking number, that is the moment to write to orders@hallofkits.com, and we will tell you exactly where your piece is.

Delivery times

Any delivery date shown by us or by a carrier is an estimate, not a guarantee. Customs inspections, weather and carrier backlogs all move it, and none of them are in our control.

What is in our control is answering you. If a parcel stalls, write to us and we will chase the carrier with you rather than leave you to do it alone.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Customs, duty and import tax

An international order may attract import duty, VAT or a carrier handling fee in the destination country. These are set by your government, not by us. They are not included in the price or the shipping charge, and they are the buyer’s responsibility.

We declare every shipment accurately, at the price actually paid. We will not under-declare a shipment or mark a sale as a gift, whatever the reason given. A piece worth thousands of dollars declared as a twenty-dollar gift is uninsurable, and it is your piece left unprotected.

If a parcel is refused or abandoned at customs, the outbound and return shipping costs are deducted from any refund.

If a parcel is delayed, lost or damaged

Write to orders@hallofkits.com as soon as you know. The sooner a claim is opened with the carrier, the better it tends to go.

If a box arrives visibly damaged, photograph it before you unwrap it fully. Those photographs, alongside our own packing photographs, are what a claim is built on.

Where a piece is one of one it cannot be replaced with the same piece. In that case we resolve it as a refund and a carrier claim, and we tell you honestly which stage it is at.

Returns

Returns are covered separately in our Refund and Returns Policy: eligible returns within fourteen days of delivery, unworn and in original packaging, with authorisation from us before anything is sent back.

The full terms of sale are set out in our Terms and Conditions.

Why we photograph every parcel

A signed shirt is not a replaceable product.

There is no second one sitting in a warehouse. If it is damaged in transit, no restock fixes it, which is why every piece is photographed in the state it left us, and why we will not let a shipment go out under-declared or uninsured.

It costs us a few minutes per order. It is the difference between a claim that succeeds and one that does not.
